✨ Becky the Wedding Dress Fairy Godmother here…
One of my dreams as a bridal designer was to finally create a Maltese wedding dress, and I am so proud to say that dream became reality with this breathtaking gown designed for beautiful bride Chasely and her wedding to Matt.
This stunning beaded mermaid wedding dress was designed through my custom wedding dress design process, where brides from across Australia, the USA and around the world work with me to bring their dream bridal gown to life.
Chasely and I designed her dress together through my online custom design process, meeting regularly online to discuss fabrics, beadwork, silhouette and the overall vision for her wedding dress.
One of the most rewarding parts of being a custom wedding dress designer is helping brides transform their inspiration into a gown that reflects their personality, culture and love story.
For Chasely, that meant creating a dramatic and elegant beaded mermaid wedding dress that would feel both timeless and unforgettable.
A Beaded Mermaid Wedding Dress Nine Months in the Making
This gown features intricate hand beadwork that took over 9 months to complete.
Every bead was individually placed by hand, creating a stunning pattern of sparkle and texture across the gown.
The silhouette of the dress was designed in a classic mermaid wedding dress style, sculpting the body through the fitted shape before flowing beautifully at the base of the gown.
The level of craftsmanship involved in creating a custom beaded wedding dress like this is extraordinary. Couture beadwork requires time, precision and attention to detail, which is why this gown is truly a one-of-a-kind wedding dress.
The final result is breathtaking.
Seeing the finished dress at Chasely’s final fitting was an unforgettable moment, as the months of design, planning and craftsmanship came together to create her dream dress.

Chasely’s wedding day was nothing short of magical.
One of the most memorable moments was her stunning fairytale arrival on horseback, which added an unforgettable romantic touch to the celebration.
Combined with the dramatic elegance of her beaded mermaid wedding dress, the entire scene felt like something out of a storybook.
